What do you enjoy the most about wealth management?
I enjoy the people side of this career and the opportunity to help our clients with highly personalized service. We are often an integral part of our clients’ financial success, and developing these relationships is especially gratifying work.
What's the biggest challenge?
There is an increasing importance and ever-evolving need for technology in our industry. It’s an exciting challenge to continually survey the business landscape, vet, and integrate new technologies that allow us to deliver more benefits to our clients.
What do you love most about being part of Harvest Wealth Management?
At Harvest, I enjoy being part of a very supportive team that is fun, talented, and completely service oriented. We care about each other’s success, which fosters a great work environment and work/life balance. To top it off, I really enjoy working with my dad, Bob, and Josh – learning under their mentorship on a daily basis, as I pursue my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification.
What professional accomplishments are you proud of?
Before joining Harvest, I served eight years as a U.S. Navy SEAL Officer. It was an especially rewarding and exciting time in my life, highlighted by three overseas deployments, unrivaled leadership and career experience, and the opportunity to work with amazingly high-caliber men and women. I’m excited to carry forward the life lessons and professional skills I gained from my time in the Navy into my career in financial services.
What qualities of yours make you best suited to what you do?
I take pride in having a unique professional background — one that I feel has prepared me well for what we do at Harvest and how we provide value for our clients. I have a diverse global perspective, strong strategic planning abilities, attention to detail, and work well with others in a collaborative, easy-going manner. I particularly value building trust and developing strong relationships to set and achieve goals together.
What do you love to do outside of work?
I love spending time outdoors in New England with my wife, our son and daughter, and two dogs. I’m an avid skier, enjoy playing golf, and always look for a chance to get out on the water either in our boat or kite-surfing. I’ll never turn down a good book or podcast recommendation, especially if it’s about military history or finance.
